Yeah, she can tell.

Her eyes say she can tell.

But she's not unkind. She nods.

"Clearing out?"

She's giving him an exit.

"Yeah. Yeah, I think, uh, I'm going to go spend some time at the gym."

Punching things sounds good. Punching things sounds excellent in fact.

She nods.

"All right. I'll check in in a couple of days. Maybe we can spend some time in the Enclosure. Do a little shooting at a range or something."

"Yeah." He says it while looking at her like she's going to swallow him whole.

David clears his throat and tries to steady himself.

"Thank you."

She'll give him a quick smile before she heads for the little safe. It's at the back of her cabin, so in all senses, she's giving him a very good chance for an exit. All the same-

"I'm glad we're going to work together, Henry."

Henry. There it is again.

He nods at her back. "Yes ma'am."

And then he exits, quickly, to go throw up in the nearest empty bathroom.
