As Saga is 35 and Logan is 14, we know she had Logan when she was 21. This would be when she was just finishing college.

Always something of a loner (note: no mentions of a bestie other than Casey, no one else in her MP), she was less of a relationship person and more of a fling and one-night-stand kinda gal. One of these ended up getting her pregnant during her senior year of college and because she didn't sleep with MANY people, she was able to go find David and tell him what was what.
They got married and had Logan together as a shared choice, but it was clear David wanted Logan more than Saga did at first. Saga had her career in her eyes and it was only by the two of them deciding together that David would take the lion's share of the parenting duties that they decided to do this. Saga's mother also helped a great deal; Freya 100% stepped up for grandmothering duty which deepened their relationship.
When Logan was born, she DID warm up to the idea of her and fell in love with her daughter but that didn't change her passion for her work or her ambitions. She and David made it work, but while they love each other as good friends and co-parents, they've never been in love. Their physical relationship is fine but they have an open relationship on both sides with the caveat that Logan is kept STRICTLY out of it. They are extremely close as co-parents and friends, essentially best friends.
